Town Hall meetings out of control? NO, that is just what they need people to believe.

I hate to be an "I told you so" kind of person because it usually comes back to bite you in the butt. However, today I'm going to tell you a little tale.

I was on the phone with a friend and was telling her that at first I thought it was kinda funny that the left were giving us titles like "right wing extremest" and "angry mobs" etc. but that I had thought about it and it was not so amusing to me anymore since they are also trying to convince the bulk of the American people that all the protesters at the town hall meetings are "paid" or "organized by republican leaders" to be there. As I stated yesterday Barbara boxer knows this to be true since they are well dressed.

Well, they have to try and make us out to be nut jobs or stupid or lower class so that they can justify voting FOR this health care bill regardless of what we want our public servants to do. Also, I told my friend that by giving us the title "right wing extremest" they really are comparing us to people like Timothy McVeigh, since that is who those titles use to be reserved for.

What do you know, this morning I had gotten so angry at the way we were being portrayed that I tried to stay away from politics for just one day, to recharge my batteries. As luck would have it my friend calls me up and says you won't believe it... someone compared the protesters to Timothy McVeigh....

It was U.S. Rep. Brian Baird and his quote was:

"a coordinated national effort" to disrupt public meetings with shouts and demonstrations, which he said Republican leaders were "egging on," was reminiscent of the kinds of things that drove Timothy McVeigh to bomb the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City in 1995."

First it isn't all that coordinated, people are coming out in droves because THEY HATE THE IDEA OF THIS HEALTH CARE BILL. Why is that so hard for the left to understand. Further they are being told to "report" "fishy" statements against the health care bill. What the heck does that mean "fishy" statements? It means that the president wants a list of people that disagree with his policies. Smacks a little of communism to me... but lets hope I will never have the opportunity to say "I told you so" on that one huh?

Scary thing is, there are people out there - normal every day people who really do believe that the protesters are just over the edge, foaming at the mouth, rednecks out to "hurt" the president. In reality they are just fed up with one more step in what we see is the wrong direction for our country. Further we are frustrated by the lefts attempts to make us feel stupid and helpless.

Guess what they want to make us feel stupid and helpless because they figure if they make enough of us feel that way that we will stop protesting and then they can go off in their own little way. I am making a call out to all of my conservative readers even as few of you as there may be pass this on... continue to voice your opinions, do it loudly and with as much gusto as you can. As always stay within the parameters of our laws, don't give them ANY instance where they can say they told us so. We are frustrated, but we are many and if we keep it up they will HEAR us. Have no doubt.
