Obama and his eloquence...

Funny how the same people who were upset because President Bush got hung up on the word nuclear (a commonly mispronounced word btw), are now all giggles and grins about President Obama using a term like "wee wee'd up".

And the news media is all a twitter because the Lady of the White House was so brilliant as to come off of Air Force One in shorts and a tank top.

Do these two NOT understand that they are representing the entire country? AT ALL TIMES.

This is ridiculous, and worse yet, like these two incidence the media seems to want to give the First Family a pass on all the little oddities they pass off.

Our president wants to say "if you like your health care, keep it." When the statement should be "well if you like your health care you can keep it until something happens that it needs to change, then you'll have to opt into the public option."

On the Laura Ingraham show today they were playing the best of Laura. And I didn't catch the name but a spokesman for the health care bill was trying to explain this away by saying something to the effect of: this is true because you shouldn't be able to buy a care that is unsafe and you should not BE ABLE TO buy into an health care system that will be bad for you in the long run.

So what they are really saying is that you (we) are too stupid to know what is good for us. We don't know which health care option is really best for us.

Furthermore, he went on to say that yes, the American people are reading the bill, but they are not smart enough to know "bill language". Oh, excuse me at least I READ the thing, that is more than most of the congress people can say.

Fact of the matter is for all the "firsts" the Obama's have been praised for by the mainstream media there have been very few that really align with what the people of this country want, with what this country was built on, or what most of the free world finds "classy" or "proper".

I would suggest that instead of playing the blame game, Mr. President, you might want to start listening to what the American people are saying. Because you see we are thinking for ourselves and we are tired of hearing how much smarter the politicians are than we common folk, we are tired of being trampled on and held in contempt just because we disagree with the direction you are taking this country. This is OUR country. Not YOURS alone. YOU were ELECTED to represent this country and do the will of the country. If the majority of us are speaking out against what you are doing it isn't because we are being LED by the nose ring, it is because we don't agree with you. We have the right to let our wishes be known. We don't work for you it is the other way around.
