Conservatives stepping up? Couldn't be. They are too well dressed.

All over the news today are accusations abound about a "they" in the Republican party organizing "angry mobs" to go to town halls to protest the health care bill.

Barbara Boxer knows they were organized to protest because the protesters were "too well dressed".

Others speculate the shear number of protesters are proof enough that it is a farce.

And still others claim that because these protesters are mentioned on News Talk Radio and in Conservative blogs, that they are bragging about how well their bit of organizing worked.

Well in answer:

Did it ever occur to you condescending, paranoid, elitist little monsters that the reason people are protesting AND angry is that we are finally fed up with YOUR brand of government? That maybe we are getting just a little tired of sitting on the side lines while you take every scrap of freedom away from us.

Did it ever occur to you that it might make people a little jumpy to hear you all ADMIT that you don't have the time or desire to read the bills you are voting on? Or that maybe we awake from our slumber and fairy tails of thinking that you care enough to do what is RIGHT not just what you feel like doing that day or voting on the flip of a coin?

I wonder how you would feel if I wrote a bill and tried to push it through in 3 weeks that would end up requiring you to pay for the Religious Education classes I want to put my children through? Probably about as bad as I feel about you wanting me to foot the bill for baby killing.

I wonder as you sit up there on your high horse, do you even care how much of the muck is sliding down the hill onto our heads and into our pockets? Do you really thing you are so smart that you can make plans work here that have failed miserably in so many other countries.

We are not out to "hurt" Obama, we are OUT to make him understand that we do not agree with the bill he is trying to pass, with the direction he is taking OUR country. Last time I looked I was still free to do this.

We are out to change the congress, you got that one right Ms. Boxer, I want CONGRESS to understand that they answer to US - the American people. What a shame that you feel we should not have this say. You have forgotten how this country is supposed to work.

You all think that every one of us has become a sheep, that will follow where ever you'd like us to go, we are standing up to tell you that you are wrong and you act as if it is because we are incredibly ignorant.

I have news for you - each and every one of you who are in office. You were put there to SERVE the American people, we "the people" have been complacent and sat on the sidelines for far too long. We are done sitting. Open your eyes and ears to those of us who pay your salary, and have the power to vote you out of that comfy office you hold. We are getting louder, so that you will hear. We are standing taller so that you will see. Put aside your egos long enough to learn something. Do not write us off as being organized by a few.

We are angry and we are INSISTING that you put your "in service to the people" hat back on.
