About Me

My Photo
I'm a Catholic, homeschooling mom of 6 (including my son who is at West Point), married to my HS sweetie. I enjoy political debates, religious discussion, and have carved out this spot on the web to put little Pieces of Me. :) Enjoy!

Well I would never, but I won't tell someone else they can't...

Ok this is the biggest cop out since the beginning of time. Really. The pro-choice side says they just don't see how we can tell other people what to do with their bodies. Really, well, then lets just allow rape - we can't tell another person what they can and can't do after all, and how about murder? Shall we pass on that one too? Why is it ok to limit people on all kinds of things such as drinking and driving, or speeding, or taking drugs, etc. but it isn't ok to tell a woman she can not kill her unborn child?

And further why can't they look at it in this perspective. By telling a woman she can not kill her unborn child you are saving her from an increased chance of several forms of cancer, from causing potential problems with future children like miscarriage and premature babies. You are helping her avoid a lifetime of regret and haunting from a child that would have been, or how about the fact that she will have much less chance of hemorrhaging from a botched abortion.

You tell me why it is ok to let a woman rip an innocent child from the womb to keep from 'encroaching' on her rights but it is not ok to tell her she can have a number of options but one of them can't be murder. I can not send my children to school and have them pray at an assembly but she can torture her child in any number of horrific means because God forbid we tell her she can't. We can't pour water over the face of a man who is ready to kill thousands or millions but we can't prevent even one more child from getting ripped limb from limb - LITERALLY.

This is a sick and twisted world when the 'inconvenience' of a pregnancy outweighs human life. I will not tone down my talk! (http://www.dailyherald.com/story/?id=303112&src) I will continue to take a stand for the millions of innocent babies who can not stand for themselves.

Babies are being killed who could very well sustain life on their own. Gone is the day when we can claim - non-viability. Babies are being born from the womb except for the head only to have scissors shoved into their brains to end their lives only moments before they are completely born. I wish to see the day when we will look back and ask ourselves "why did we let these barbaric procedures take place?"

And in this age when we allow doctors to pull the brains out of a child to kill it for something like "temporary depression caused by pregnancy", why does it surprise us that people have so little regard for other lives?

It is time to stop!
